Google to takeover the World!

I’ve been Googlized! Is that even a word? It is now! I’m happy to add this to our ever-growing dictionary of relevant terms. So, what the heck do I mean by Googlized? Well, let me explain. For years I’ve followed technology trends…the good, the bad and the very ugly!  In all these years, I have heard that Microsoft was taking over the world, then Yahoo, IBM and so on. But with all things said, I have to say, Google has the best shot. Why? Because what other company offers so many useful services for free…or very little money. How many companies can boast 98% market share of a particular industry. What company is so pervasive in our daily lives? You guessed it…Google!

Whether you are petrified about the prospect of having such a company in control of so much data or thrilled that finally there is a company that actually provides inexpensive services that we can actually use then that is only for you to decide. For me, I look at it like this. We already have a company that monopolizes every facet of our lives and it has done a poor job of providing useful services at reasonable prices. You might know it…The U.S. Government. Hmmm…will I be getting a call from the Secret Service now? Stay tuned…
